Robert Badgerow sat alone at a table on the right.
The hand side of Court No.

Rimmed glasses, dark trousers, striped shirts, gold and blue ties are shorter than fashionable ones.
He is not a big man.
The father who drove him to kidina Court was taller.
Now, Badgerow is in his 50 s with a thick shoulder and a tapered shirt with a tight belly, and looks like a construction foreman attending the board.
When he testified, he took notes, looked down at the documents, and thought about his fingers.
Not long before lunch break, an intimate
A young woman's face appeared on the projection screen in front of him.
This is the face of the woman he had sex with 30 years ago.
Accused of Killing.
Diane Werendowicz is a picture of 23.
She looked like she was sleeping but not calm, her lips were cracked and her skin looked swollen.
The face on the screen is close enough to Badgerow to reach out and touch.
Then he didn't turn his head to look at the screen, or when the authorities showed pictures of the victim's naked torso and the body lying in Stoney Creek Canyon, she had a tire on her body.
This is not the first time he has been tried for murder;
Maybe he's seen disturbing pictures of evidence before.
He was first accused.
He was murdered because he was charged with sexual assault and killed Werendowicz.
The jurors heard it on Tuesday.
The examination of forensic pathologists, as the defense and the royal family continued to provide a competitive scenario in which nursing assistants were killed on the evening of Friday, June 1981.
A photo zoomed in and placed on the juror easel shows the victim's lower body, her jeans buckled but the zipper unzipped.
Another photo shows a pair of running shoes in the canyon, shoelaces tied, and underwear discarded in the bushes.
Semen was found on her jeans crotch but not on her underwear.
Asked assistant prosecutor James wenzeli, isn't that possible? It all points to a scene where Werendowicz was raped and then stood up and tied her jeans to run away and leave the underpants and tied shoes behind
Just knocked down and caught by her killer?
Doctor, forensic pathologist
Christopher Milroy thinks this is possible.
The cross of wenzeli
To check whether the degree of damage to Milroy's focus Werendowicz was appropriate, to find the pathological role in 1981, Dr. Herbert Foster.
The suggestion is that a more thorough autopsy might prove that she was raped in the canyon --
It led to the official claim that the rapist and the murderer were Badgerow.
Vincelli suggested that more photography should be done on the body, with a red marker behind the victim's neck, a long scar above her pelvis, which Foster did not notice (
Who is no longer alive talking about his discovery). “If (Dr. Foster)missed (the scar)
He may have missed something else . "
"This is. . . A complete guess, "replied Milroy, adding that in his work as a forensic pathologist, he did not report scars, and omissions like this" happened . . . . . .
No one is perfect . . . . . . He will not be the first forensic pathologist to report.
"Should this be any consolation to the lady? Werendowicz?
Replied vencelli. Back then, Dr.
Foster is not the leading forensic pathologist at Hamilton General Hospital. it was Dr.
Rex Ferris, he can't do an autopsy.
The prosecutor suggested that Foster should do something like take a picture of the whole body and dissect the pelvic organs.
Milroy said forensic pathologists did not often take such steps in 1981. “Dr. Ferris did (them)
"Vincelli said.
The defense maintains that Badgerow's DNA was found in the victim's body because they had sex agreed upon by both parties, but then another man murdered her.
Milroy claims "Rape kills" are not common
Most rape victims are alive.
His cross is coming to an end.
Through the examination, wenzeli put forward the official theory directly to the forensic pathologist.
"Sometimes killing people can keep track of sexual assault and silence victims?
Leo Adler, lawyer at Badgerow, opposed the issue. “(Vincelli)
Trying to get into the mind who did it (crime)
He told Gerald Taylor, the High Court judge.
The judge raised the question and Milroy answered it.
"I think this is a simple question of common sense," he said . "
