Not only did KW Habilitation get a new building. The non-
Profit Institutions for the development of services for children and adults with disabilities have new prospects.
In an old factory, the sheltered workshop is no longer there, and the administrative office is separated in front.
Now, it's a bright, passionate center where the separation is gone and there's plenty of room for fun activities and socializing.
"We are a new building with a new attitude," said executive director Ann Biro . ".
"We are all part of a community.

In kidina this spring, bilodu was surprised to see a huge change in people who regularly come to the center to participate in many projects.
"Everyone feels valuable.
"They think it's their building," she said . ".
There is more confidence that people are taking risks and taking part in activities that they may not have before.
There is a sense of pride and ownership.
The head and shoulders were raised.
"People are not afraid to talk to people," said Bilodeau . ".
They are all eager to celebrate the new building and share it with the community at the grand opening ceremony on Thursday.
Tours from 1: 30 to 4m.
And then cut the color at 4 p. m.
"Socializing is probably the biggest part of this space," said Bilodeau . ".
"There are more opportunities.
The atmosphere here is not so rigid.
"At lunch, the cafe near the front door was packed with people chatting with friends who were drinking coffee and snacks.
"There has never been a lack of dialogue there," Bilodeau said with a smile . ".
The building, she says, is like a hub that attracts nearly 100 people to events in buildings and communities every day.

On the main floor, they showed their work for the day.
"The whole thing is about choice and choice," said Bilodeau . ".
Some training is under way
There are also restaurants and cafes-

Kitchen and laundry area with living skills.
The administrative area is mixed in rooms such as arts and crafts "creative station", Library and social center --
This is also an affiliate area for relatives working with KW Habilitation.

KW Habilitation supports 650 adults, their families and 1,110 children in the early learning program, which helps children with any special needs.

The old building behind the new building in the south of Sydney street has now been demolished and the building is ready to build a new apartment building with 22 affordable housing units, the price will also reach $5 million to be paid through government funding and fundraising.
While some apartments will be for KW rehabilitation clients, bilodu said they want to create a "community of intent ".
"People will be screened to find people who" show their willingness to help your neighbors.
"We will have people who support each other," said Bilodeau . ".
Both centres and apartments will reflect a fundamental shift in ways to support the development of persons with disabilities.
"It's all about social inclusion," said Bilodeau . ".
