The city released a 2016-pound fourth-quarter report on council spending, which complements the quarterly report released in the past year.
The final expense report for 2016 helped to have a comprehensive understanding of the total reimbursement paid to each member of the Council last year.
In general, Mayor Jeff Lehman has outspent any other council member ($6,543. 85)in 2016 —
It may not be surprising that he represents the whole city.
However, Sergio Morales of Ward 9 topped the list of MPs ($5,888. 54)
And then Peter Silvera ($4,956. 25)
Prince Andrew ($4,620. 69), Barry Ward ($4,479. 61)
Michael PLOS ($3,919. 31), Mike McCann ($3,830. 34), Rose Romita ($3,336. 77), Arif Khan ($2,320. 39)

A large part of the Morales budget is used for communication
For example, phone bills, advertisements and Christmas cards are mailed out.
He says the cost is dividends for voters.
"My Town Hall has residents who say this is the highest level of communication they have received from the town hall for decades.
"It shows that it's working," Morales said . ".
"Every member of Parliament is free to contact their residents (and)
No matter how much they are willing to spend, but as a new member of the Council, I don't have the benefit of being a household name.
