You know the pioneering work that was done during the Crimean War under harsh conditions, and the pioneering nursing training that was subsequently initiated by the world's most famous nurses.
But what you may not know is that the angels of Crimea are also one of the first information designers.
The chart clearly presented by Nightingale shows the death rate of the British Army in that terrible war. Can graphic design save your life?
