When his black lengthened limousine was parked in a divided place, John Tesh exclaimed

It's the house, Sir.
Tesh, a musician and former television celebrity, left the Garden City shortly after graduating from high school in 1970 and grew up without getting involved. Mr.
Tash returns to Long Island for the Westbury Music Fair.
He relived some memories before the performance.
He said that memories of what his house used to look like are incredible with the reality that today looks like.
"It was such a big thing when we got aluminum wall panels," he recalls . ".

Like many people who grew up in Long Island
Tesh left the coast for fame and fortune.
After graduating from high school, his family moved to North Carolina, so there was not much reason to come back.
"I did attend my tenth party," he said . ".
"But I reported it for CBS.
Although he was a TV reporter and anchor for WCBS
In New York, he rarely ventured to the suburbs to watch TV.
He said he had always wanted to travel to the Garden City, but several years had passed.

Little John Frank Tesh was born at the charity hospital in Rockville Center

Tesh and his wife, Bunny, moved to Long Island from North Carolina.
Their Southern accent soon became more nasal in New York.
John and his two sisters Bonnie and Mary Allen raised the children.

I work on a projector and I'm a photo editor of the yearbook, a budding photographer.

When he walked into the auditorium, he said, "I want Connie to be here with a camera . ".
"Hey, this is a big place . "
Bisharat, who attends school in Los Angeles.
"Where is the metal detector?
He was told: "They are not needed in the garden city.
Isn't this a professional auditorium? " Mr.
Said Tesh as he jumped onto the stage.

I remember one of my band teachers, Don chaudden.

Tesh recalled, "I was in the principal's office for a while.
I was suspended for a day for shouting at the band teacher.
"Back in the hall, the group stopped to see the murals painted by the students.
One is about Vietnam and the Beatles.
"That's how I live . "Tesh said.
"This is exactly what happened to me at this school.
"It's history class now.
"Is Garden City still a good high school?
He asked the keeper. "The best," Mr.

Tesh said he was a good student. "I was in A. P. classes.
I have a great job.
I have a very good teacher.
I went to college in North Carolina and haven't had to work for three years.
I learned it here.
"It's so cool . "
Tesh sat at the table in his former English classroom and said.
"It smells like a school.
The advertisement outside gave him a final look at his alma mater.
"This has not changed," he said . ".
"It seems to be frozen.
They even danced winter wonderland.
It all seems unreal.

When the limo drove to the street outside the old country path he grew up in, his brain entered the automaticpilot.

"I couldn't afford it at the time, and he didn't want to give it to me.

Memories are not all happy.
Then the car passed Glen Cove Road.

An hour after standing on stage at Garden City High School, he was on stage in Westbury.
