Art company Art404 came up with the idea and listed the room on the online accommodation market Airbnb on Wednesday.
"A lot of our work revolves around the web culture or pop culture.
"We like to bring memes to life and provide them as a real experience," Galle told Mashable . ".
The meme of "Netflix and cold" naturally became the right theme around building projects, and the idea grew automatically from there.
"Of course, Netflix and chill are euphemism for inviting someone to have sex with streaming services in the background.
However, Galle says the room is "different from going to a hotel" and is not more suitable for sex than any other room.
The $400 room is only available for rent on Saturday night and although it doesn't match the joke, it also has an Apple TV.
As anyone will tell you, three people are a group of people when it comes to Netflix and chill.
"We can't allow you to have extra guests in the apartment, which is a serious requirement," Airbnb listingread said . ".
