Apple has updated its iPod Touch music player for the first time in nearly three years as the company seeks to make music a core part of its device again.
The new Touch has faster processors and better cameras.
It also has a software update that makes Apple Music $10-a-
Monthly service for unlimited playback of millions of songs.
As music fans increasingly accept paid subscriptions, Apple Music was launched in June 30. per-

The move comes as iPod popularity declines.
The IPod, Apple's first successful attempt outside of a personal computer, paved the way for Apple's iPhone launch in 2007, six years later.
Although the music player has existed before, the iPod is the first device to simplify syncing with digital music collections on a personal computer.
In recent years, however, many people have used their smartphones to listen to music.
The last time Apple released its iPod sales data for July
Apple sold 2 in the quarter of last September.
6 million iPods, down 39 million from the previous year, were only a fraction of the iPhones sold in the quarter.
As demand slows, Apple's update to the iPod also slows: Apple no longer updates the iPod every year as usual.
But the latest move suggests Apple has not given up on the iPod.
Touch is essentially an iPhone that doesn't have a cellular function because it runs the same iOS OS and most of the same apps.
It extends the Apple Music and iPhone app to teenagers and other young customers who may not need a phone or can't afford a phone service.
In addition to music, iPod Touch may have new customers interested in Apple's apps, videos and other content --
That way, they turn to the iPhone, iPad or Mac when they are ready to buy more devices.
The price starts at $199, the same as the iPhone 6.
A one-year service contract, but the iPod Touch does not require a monthly service charge for voice, text, and data.

The processor now matches the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last fall, not the iPhone 4S of 2011.
Apple said that for general tasks, the speed of the new chip is 6 times the original, and for graphics, this speed is 10 times the original. —
The rear camera can take clearer photos at a speed of 8 pixels.
This matches the nearest iphone, exceeding the 5 megapixels previously touched.

All the sensors for the IPhone will not be installed on the new Touch.

There is also no technology for Apple to pay in retail stores.
