According to Energy Star, when you program your thermostat with a heating and cooling schedule, you can save up to $180 in energy costs per year.
But a report released by the United StatesS.
S. Energy Information Administration found that less than 20% of Americans use heating and/or central air conditioners to program their thermostats.
This means that most of us are missing potential savings.
