A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
Our weekly Kickstarter column will learn about the world of crowdfunding, find the coolest things on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and other sites that deserve your time and money.
We are looking for the next Oculus Rift or Pebble, but we have also found many other cool projects in the process.
We 've seen it all from DIY tools to high tech luggage, and some of the odd things we 've seen lately include a gadget that can turn any glass of water into a humidifier, A smart cup that keeps your coffee warm and a pen that can answer calls or text messages.
This week we found a simple accessory Bevel that will provide 3D photography for your Android or iOS device.
The way it works is simple
This is a gadget that uses 3 to connect to the phone.
5mm audio jack with 3D camera.
Not only did it create the illusion of depth, it actually took 3D images, which the slope creator claimed could also be used for 3D printing.
To use it, all you have to do is plug the Bevel into the phone and take a photo using the companion app.
You can pan around the image to create a suitable 3D image that uses laser vision in the bevel attachment to measure the distance between the camera and the scanned object, this allows it to create a complete depth map.
Not only does the generated image look 3D
It provides actual depth information, which is very important for 3D modeling and augmented reality applications.
The file is shareable and the bevel itself uses microUSB port.
You can see how it works in the video below: Now, the project is over $100,000 (
About Rs. 64 lakh)
Target $200,000 (
About Rs. 1. 28 crore).
You can buy a slope for $49 (just over Rs. 3,000)
, You will get the bevel, charging cable and calibration card.
It's not a lot of money for accessories that look cool, but how useful this thing will be over time is questionable.
Also, you can find the app that has shown you how to make stereo images that you can take with any phone.
Free apps like Phogy for Android and Seene for iOS allow you to take 3D images using a built-in camera.
The difference, of course, is that the quality of the images taken is not really comparable to the depth you can generate, if you really like 3D images, then the Beeline is the way to go.
There are some high-profile crowdfunding projects that are not shipped despite setting financial goals, so you should consider it carefully before putting money into any project.
That being said, the price is not too high and the concept is cool enough that we will be interested so check out the page.
