The amendment to Charlottetown's signing of the charter passed the council's third reading last night, but did not pass until MP Mitch Teville asked for a delay in reading.
Tweel told City Council members in the business and logo industries that they asked meetto discuss their concerns further.
Tweel said they wrote a letter saying that they had attended a public meeting and expressed their concerns but did not see them reflected in the revised charter.
Charlottetown hopes to allow the modification of electronic signs? City councillors making way for the larger logo said that some of the issues mentioned in the letter are the size of the logo allowed and the digital logo that wants more.
"The delay is to be proactive, to try to learn more and to work further with business people.
He said he thought the issue would return to the council again.
