MADISON, Wis. -
Authorities say an armed robber was foiled at a convenience store in Madison, Wisconsin, who cut the clerk's finger and her blood made it impossible to open the cash drawer with the computer screen of the cash register.
According to the national daily, the robbery took place around 9: 25. m. Monday at a 7-Eleven.
Police said a masked suspect carried a tool to cut the box and cut her finger while suing the woman.
Police say the cash drawer is controlled by a computer touch screen, which does not work when wet.
The robbers robbed some cigarettes and fled to a runaway car.
The suspect is still at large.
