Corolla celebrates its 50 th anniversary this year and has sold 43 million vehicles worldwide since the launch of 1966 in Japan.

This success does not seem to slow down.

For American buyers, there are two interesting developments this year.
First of all, Toyota's safety awareness
P technical standards for all Corollas.
This includes pre-
Collision, pedestrian detection, lane
Departure warning with Steering Assist, dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beam.
This is good news for Corolla buyers, representing a step in which competitors must match quickly.
Second, the Corolla is producing a 50 th anniversary edition and we see retail prices ranging from $21,000 to $23,000.
There are three colors to choose from: Black Cherry Pearl, classic silver and Blizzard Pearl.
This 8,000 car features a special black interior with a black cherry accent and stitching, anniversary mats and badges.
And a 7-
Inch touch screen, navigation, smart key and skylight.
This is a special interest car in the future with reasonable price.
