A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
If you like analog watches (
You know, old.
The kind made of mobile hands)
But for some smart features, cuckoo 2 connects the watch ($150)
Probably more attractive than its square, full
Competitors.
But what needs to be reminded is that this is a very basic smart watch.
Cuckoo 2 works with devices running Android 4.
IPhone 4S and up, iPad mini, 4 th-and 3rd-
Ipad and iPod touch (5th gen).
We bought a cuckoo in the lab to test and the results will be announced soon.
But first, we did some informal testing to pair it with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone.
No matter what ability you are looking for, the failure of cuckoo can be solvedbreakers.
Cuckoo 2 looks like a traditional watch.
However, there is a monochrome display hidden behind it, which provides basic notifications: Incoming calls (with Caller ID)
Missed calls, text messages, electronics
Email, social media alerts (
WhatsApp, Line, QQ, WeChat, Skype, Facebook, Twitter)
And calendar reminders.
It will also show you when the battery is low
This will not be as frequent as the more sophisticated smartwatch, as the cuckoo 2 runs with the battery and the second smaller battery of the watch movement.
We have been using it for about a week and it still shows full charges.
The first step is to download the connected watch app to the mobile device and then pair the phone with the watch via Bluetooth.
It took us a couple of times to successfully pair the two gadgets, but it's probably because we 've already used another smartwatch in Note 3.
When we pair the two devices, cuckoo and cell phones are easy to find each other.
There is no touch screen on cuckoo.
Instead, you navigate using the four buttons that are located around the border: Power, commands, left side of the page, and right side of the page.
Using these buttons individually or in a variety of combinations, you can confirm and turn off notifications and control music on paired mobile devices.
Cuckoo 2 also has a feature of "find your phone.
Press the power and button on the left side of the page and your phone will make a sound of "cuckoo, Cuckoo --cute.
You can also find your watch through the mobile app.
You can activate the camera of your phone by opening the app, pressing the camera icon and pressing the command button of your watch.
Regarding the use of various functions of cuckoo 2, we would like to get a clearer and more detailed explanation.
After many searches, we found this online tutorial.
The brochure in the box is not so detailed.
Cuckoo 2 does not always work seamlessly.
On the one hand, although I set up a Gmail account on my test phone, there is no email
Email notifications have appeared in watches or apps. (
We contacted the company to resolve the issue and will update based on the response. )
Second, there is very little configurable in the application.
Almost all you can do is turn on and off various types of alerts.
There is no way to specify which social notifications you have received.
In fact, you don't even know what social networks it comes from when a reminder comes up.
Unlike most other smartphones
Watch platform, no additional app to add features.
As we said before: very basic.
Finally, you can't send any information like most other smartwatches.
Cuckoo 2 is just to receive the alarm and not to respond to it.
Cuckoo 2 is a smart watch, but there is little.
Our experience was a bit frustrating.
But it's a well.
Camouflage Electronics, which is easy to pass through a traditional analog watch before an alarm appears.
If this is important to you, it may be a model that needs to be considered.
Check our lab test results on this and other new smartwatches as soon as possible. —
