Type "about: config" in the address bar ".
It will prompt you with a warning, read it and click "I promise I will be careful! " button.
Don't touch anything here, just like the Chinese cabinets you had in the restaurant when you were a child.
Just go quietly as soon as you can to get your Mom's Christmas plate and don't touch or break anything else.
Select the filter bar at the top (
Not the address bar)
Search for "gestures" to bring up all actions and commands that handle gestures.
Sort by type at the column header.
This groups all string preferences together, and they are parameters that you can specify the command.
You will notice a preference called "browser. gesture.
Represents a single click/click ".
It is set to reset the zoom, for example, your 400% zoom setting for that 6 Font News site will not continue to the ad where you click that site, inform you that you can "Last 2 times! " (
Note: this does not mean you can stick to 800% more.
If you stay on the same site though, my experience is that the zoom level is aligned with your adjustments.
However, my explanation for this feature is entirely personal and may not be correct.
You can change this so that Firefox does something every time you click (Maybe a prank? )
But I'm not sure how it will work.
To make adjustments, simply identify the gesture to be adjusted, double-click it under the values column, and paste the required command from the list.
It is important to keep the command exactly the same;
They only use the correct case-sensitive version.
I have attached images of continuous pages and screens that you should encounter in order to get to the right place to change your settings.
The text is very small in the default window, so click on the small "I" in the upper left corner to go to the original file for a more detailed picture.
I should mention that the last picture is not what your screen will look like, but what my screen will look like after all the changes.
Note that any customization and modifications you make to gesture settings here will not be transferred to any other application on your computer.
If you want to customize multi-touch gestures in other apps, you need to use apps like multi-touch.
In addition to string preferences, there are integer and Boolean preferences.
You cannot change the functionality here by adding commands, but you can use these preferences to change the details of the gesture itself.
Integer preferences allow you to change numbers. "browser. gesture. twist.
Threshold "is the first choice for distortion command sensitivity.
The default value for this is 25.
25 represents the value of how far your twist gesture must go before Firefox recognizes the twist as a twist.
Firefox is aware of this when you put two fingers on the trackpad, but it's not until your gestures exceed the set threshold that Firefox calls a legitimate twist.
Most of the time, if you can't get it to recognize your twist command, it's just because you don't have enough twist to make Firefox distinguish between an accident and a deliberate twist.
This means that the integer value is too high for your unique interpretation of twisted gestures.
Instead, you may find that Firefox incorrectly identifies the twisted command entered, which means that the integer value is too low for your personal gesture style.
If you want Firefox to make it easier to identify the warp command, reduce the integer value to 10 or 15.
This will be of great help.
If you want to make the twist more difficult, raise the value to around 40 or 50.
Values like this make it very difficult to perform the distortion unexpectedly.
If you want to disable the twist, but keep your precious command set, you can set the twist value to any massive number, such as 1000.
This will make it a big challenge to get a distorted recognition in firefox.
Use your finger a few laps around the computer on the trackpad to get a sign up.
Competition for people to set up browsers. gesture. twist.
It will be interesting to have a threshold for a large number of numbers and get a threshold approved by Firefox.
In terms of the interpretation of its integer value and the problems associated with it, the contraction is exactly the same as the distortion, but the value starts higher.
Default is 150.
To make it easier to pinch the time, set the value to about 60-80.
I am personally shocked that the default value of the value is not in this range.
To make the extrusion more difficult, set the value to about 180-200.
It's like pinching a very, very fat person.
To disable pinch, set the number to pinch the size of "Jabba the Hutt", such as around 1000, which will make it impossible to pinch.
Another prank might be to set this value to 1. Just try it.
You can change three Boolean preferences: the browser. gesture. twist.
Browser lock. gesture. pinch.
Locked and gesture.
Enable_single_pinger_input.
I don't know what the last one did, but from my experiments it did nothing.
To adjust these settings, double-click on their values (
True or false)
Under the value column.
It changes when your double click is recognized.
For latches, setting false allows you to execute multiple commands from a single input of the gesture.
For example, if you have set the twist to back, you can twist your finger and keep it in the final position, Firefox will continue to back, one page after another, until you release your hand from the twisted position.
When the latch is set to true, this means that you get an output when you perform a gesture.
To expand the previous example, a twist latch set to true will allow you to return only one page each time you perform a twist gesture.
