MONTREAL—DavidsTea Inc.
An agreement has been signed to sell its tea bags at grocery stores across Canada.
The company signed an agreement with loblaww.
This will see tea written on several banners in the grocery store.
The DavidsTea package is expected to be available in a range of Loblaw banners included;
Laurel rolls, independence, Zehrs, Valu
Wal-Mart, Atlantic Supermarket, rule, Provigo and Fortinos.
The new deal was reached after the joint-led shareholder uprising.
Founder Herschel Segal will replace the board of directors at the company's annual meeting in June.
Segal, who took over as executive chairman and interim CEO, promised that the specialty tea shop would make a profit within a year.
