I think another young band with a Brooklyn roots adventure, Dirty Projector, has made third place.

The band produced a loop of songs whose storyline somehow involved Eagle singer Don Henry, and a highly abstract remake of LP by post-80 black flag punk rock singers.

More direct.
It focuses on the mixed voices of the band members.
Although some areas are affected by modern R & D, the arrangement is very different.
For example, the single "still is moving" gives me the impression that it's a bit like fate's child and will work with the talking head.
I like other records of Dirty Projectors, but sometimes they seem too eager to show their wisdom.
Don't think too much about the latest
Or, rather, over-thinking in order to balance the mind and mind.
Recently, I saw this group at an exhibition in New York, where the combination of the sour strangeness and melody sugar in the vocals reminded me of the depth that the best pop musicians have brought to their art.
This really allows me to hope that members of the dirty project will be involved for a long time.
