The HVX200 camera uses a FireWire cable that passes audio, video, time code, and control information, allowing the user to record both the disk and the P2 card at the same time.
It also includes a comprehensive backlit display, a menu system, and buttons that provide easy control and management.
In dvcpro hd or DVCPRO 50 mode, the file is recorded on disk in P2 mxf format.
In DVCPRO/DV mode, the file is recorded in the format of RawDV, AVI type 1, AVI type 2 24 p, Matrox AVI, Canopus AVI, quick or P2 MXF file.
