Ford Motor has fallen almost to the bottom of the annual vehicle reliability survey due to its touch defects
Toyota Motor Corp. , Japan's rival, swept the top three in the world.
In a consumer report survey released on Monday, Ford fell 7 percentage points to 27 of the 28 brands surveyed, and the high-end Lincoln brand fell 12 percentage points,
The results show that Ford's top 10 sales fell sharply two years ago, with average or better models accounting for more than 90% of its models.
But problems with Ford's mini-car drive system, as well as failures with MyFord Touch and my Lincoln Touch systems, have damaged Ford's ranking.
Ford's 60% and Lincoln's half are rated below average this year, and none of them are above average.
Ford's worst-performing model is the explorer movement. Practical vehicle.
Jack Fisher, director of automotive testing consumer reporting, said 16% of consumers who bought explorers complained about the control system.
According to the survey, the Japanese brand occupied the top seven this year.

The Toyota brand won the first place in four places.
The luxury Lexus nameplate, however, dropped one position and ranked third.
