Sierra Studios is the development arm of one of the many troubled big old PC game publishers who managed to release the downloadable version before Activision closed the $10 XBLA in 2008.

Bones are more risky than risk: faction, with little increase in the sublime formula for the original game.
Really, the only reason to play this version on the physical version is that it doesn't need to set the time, which is not a real achievement considering that any digital board game can be done automatically.
It also offers online playback, but Carcassone is already available online for free on the pc, so there's nothing really added to this feature either.
Unless you don't already have a copy of the physical game and really want to play it on Xbox, there's nothing to recommend for this particular Carcassone.
After they changed the real world
With the rise of the country, big games decided to take on an easier project.
Catan is the Xbox 360 version of another classic German board game, Settlers of Catan.
Like a remake of Carcassone, it is faithful to the original.
Except for the regular vanilla settlers who play Catan, it does not provide any game mode and all the math and settings are processed.
Unlike the relatively simple Carcassone, this actually helps Catan a lot.
The establishment of a board of directors for the actual settlers in Catan is a painful and long and boring process and it is great not to have to deal with this issue.
However, given the lack of new features compared to the original game here, I still can't recommend it as heartily as risk: faction.
But it's a way to play the most fun but scary board game that makes it valuable.
