Well, the word "desire" may be too strong;
I tried to decide if this was something I wanted to try or if my eyes were permanently damaged by looking at it.
I 've seen input devices optimized for specific applications in the past--

But OpenOffice mouse is probably the most extreme example I 've ever seen. Come on. . .
