Google has released a new Chrome device management console for digital signage and kiosks.
It's called Chrome device management for a single application (Single App CDM)
And each device costs $24 a year.
It provides reporting to businesses, monitors the health of kiosks and signage at any time, and provides alerts when equipment goes down.
It also allows you to restart the device remotely without having to let someone else go out and handle it.
In addition, the Single App CDM provides real-time updates on system usage.
The user can capture screen grabs to see what the user sees.
Among devices supported by a single CDM application, Asus Chromebit was announced earlier this year and is now available.
It can be used to integrate into what Google calls a "wide range" of signage configurations.
"For example, the menu board of a coffee shop or cafe can be powered by Chrome devices such as Chromebox, Chromebase and Chromebit," said Vidya Nagarajan of Google, a Chrome Kiosk app that displays relevant dynamic content.
