A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
The Ara team posted a message on Twitter today announcing the postponement and cancellation of plans to test the project in Puerto Rico later this year.
Google plans to work with OpenMobile, a large mobile phone operator in Latin America, and part of the U. S. moville Claro to launch modular phones.
However, the Ara team is now "focusing on several places in the United States ".
"Modular phones will allow users to change and upgrade core components of their smartphones, such as processors, cameras and screens, rather than buying new phones.
It is reported that the cost of the basic model of only the basic module is about $50.
In addition to basic features such as cameras, users can install medical devices, receipt printers, laser indicators, pico projectors, night vision sensors, or game controller buttons.
Google plans to provide up to 30 modules for the canceled trial in Puerto Rico.
