Teacher's nonsenseblah-
Blah put my brain into hibernation.
I plunged into the meat.
A sturdy plastic chair, propped up an elbow on a laminated wooden table top to counter the panic.
I know this fear is unreasonable.
"You are an adult, a journalist with a task! "I told myself.
"When you suffer, your friends are not really having a good time outside.
"Even now, you see, it's hard for me to discuss the trauma that summer school boredom has caused to my young heart.
Walking into that classroom, the pain rekindled.
However, the strange thing is: before I fall into a deep sleep of sin, I find myself paying attention. In a classroom.
In the hot summer.
It's not the puppets that saved me from boring boredom.
It's the teacher.
She caught my attention without a state. of-the-

Today's theme is: teachers and technology.

"The problem is that it's so easy and tempting to explore Internet links and it's hard to stay focused.
In science and engineering, a lot of learning comes from work problems.
I am concerned that many students spend more time looking for solutions that they can replicate rather than solving problems themselves.

"When I was sitting in the classroom, the blog debate came back to me again, with a master teacher from Alaska watching by 20 Hebrew and Arabic teachers, apply her Russian teaching skills to a group of kindergartens.
She taught completely in Russian, and even though I brought a bad attitude to the class, I found myself attracted.
The teacher told with confidence.
She distributed the clay folklore characters created by the children, looked into the eyes of each child, and gently but firmly persuaded them to name the colors in Russian.
She adjusts her voice like an actor, rewards each correct answer with timely praise, and invites her classmates to help those who stumble.
The whole class acted quickly.
In a seamless ending, the teacher made a puppet for the children. -
Wolf, pig, crumpled grandma-
Took them to a simple cardboard theater.
The children move their puppet's mouth up and down one by one, showing a conversation of folk stories in whispery's Russian language.
Simple sentences are connected to a plot, and the children seem to be surprised by their achievements.
I don't quite understand the play, but teaching fascinates me.
I would be afraid if I didn't learn a few Russian words.
Now, it might be cool if the teacher gave the puppet video and asked the kids to edit it and then discuss it on the interactive whiteboard.
But for me, this day's class is like this: the most important part of teaching is (
OK everyone, raise your hand like a puppet and let it say "duh! "). . . the teacher.
This does not mean that schools should avoid technology.
Even the Masters need good tools, and I bet a quirky Monk at the monastery school criticized puppets hundreds of years ago for being too high --
Technology is so interesting that it is a serious and sacred threat to all pedagogy.
But let's first ensure that teachers have relatively rare skills to engage students in person and then encourage them when and how they decide to use new tools to enhance their appearance --'em-in-the-eye talents.
