A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
If you ever put your smartphone down, you know, time seems to have stopped when you helplessly watch it crash on the ground and seem slow.
Then you close your eyes, take a deep breath and check --
Hope and pray that the exhibition will not break or break.
Thankfully you need to fix your smartphone if it's damaged and you have some options.
There are several damaged iPhones lying around me.
I'm not sure if there's a cost-
Effective solutions can fix them, or it would be better to simply log out and get something new.
I decided to explore the options available to fix my smartphoneboth do-it-
Professional service.
The good news is that it is possible to repair your smartphone at a reasonable cost.
I started with do-it-
Repair your own kit for the damaged iPhone 4S screen.
I got the DIY repair kit from iCracked.
The IPhone 4S kit costs $90 (
Currently "sold" for $45"
The price of the IPhone 6 Display Kit rose from there to $180.
ICracked also offers DIY kits for Samsung devices and iPad monitors, as well as faulty or damaged batteries and water-Damaged equipment.
The iCracked DIY kit for IPhone 4S is good.
It is equipped with the necessary tools: Cross screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, pentalock screwdriver, nylon spudger, suction cup, guitar dial, SIM card tray tool and micro fiber cleaning cloth.
It also has detailed stepsby-
Step description of the whole process and YouTube video link.
I have extensive training and experience in electronics so your mileage may vary but it took me about 30 minutes to remove the iPhone 4S, replace the monitor and re-
Smartphone features.
Working with tiny screws and delicate internal parts of the iPhone is not for weak heart and I don't recommend my mother --in-law try it.
However, I think most people can successfully replace the iPhone 4S display using this kit as per iCracked instructions.
Next, I continue to use DirectFix's DIY repair kit to try the same thing with the iPhone 5S.
DirectFix offers a DIY repair kit option similar to iCracked, but there are more devices to choose from in addition to Apple and Samsung.
The iPhone 5S DIY kit I received from DirectFix is similar to what I received from iCracked --
And a similar set of tools needed for maintenance.
I didn't find any instructions, but I ended up finding that the shipping invoice in the box contained a note with a link to access the DirectFix video to complete the repair.
The IPhone 5S is more challenging than the iPhone 4S.
Taking the device apart is much more complicated, and the addition of the Touch ID sensor makes it a more subtle process.
The Touch ID sensor is connected using a thin ribbon cable that is easily damaged and if you damage it there is no way to fix it.
I followed the video and replaced the cracked monitor but there was a problem with the new one.
When I turn on the device, there are some vertical lines on the left side of the display screen, and the touch screen only has partial functionality.
I don't blame DirectFix or DIY kit for this issue.
I want to crush or squeeze something when I disassemble or assemble the iPhone.
In other words, this is my carrier error and a good reason for you to consider fixing your smartphone yourself.
The DIY kit is a cheaper way to fix your smartphone instead of paying a professional to fix it, but if you screw up the DIY repair and eventually still have to pay the professional to fix the original problem, it may also be a new problem you are trying to solve yourself.
In the long run, it's much less stressful and probably cheaper to have a professional repair your smartphone.
The challenge is to find a professional you can trust.
Or at least it used to be.
I see a wide variety of smartphone repair services and the dirty, cheap shops that call repairing smartphones.
However, I really don't believe that they know more about what they are doing than I do, and I don't believe in the quality of the work or the protection of repairs.
Then I found the service on Radio.
It's a shop to fix it here-within-a-
Sold in thousands of radio cabin shops.
The technicians who repair it here can get 40 hours of tension, professional, hands-on
Training led by technical Masters.
They can fix cracked displays, damaged charging ports, water damage, camera issues, audio issues, batteries, etc.
Repair started at $39. 99.
The average maintenance cost of the cracked display is about $110, and the replacement of the faulty battery is about $40.
Radio has become relatively obscure compared to its previous glory, but it is still an e-brand I trust.
More importantly, it is a respected chain store across the country that offers 7-
Monthly warranty for parts and manual repairs.
Repair it here and provide repair that you can confidently at a reasonable price.
It's also done very quickly.
The repair technicians here can complete most of the repairs on site in an hour or two.
I am here to fix the iPhone 5S I am trying to fix myself, and an iPhone 4 S that is no longer charging.
He replaced the monitor and the internal speaker.
I damaged the device when I reassembled it.
On the iPhone 5S, install a new charging port on the iPhone 4S.
For less than $200, both devices are completely manufactured
Get back to work and come back to me in a few hours.
Both ICracked and DirectFix provide professional repair services.
ICracked manages the third network
Local technicians.
Your request will be outsourced to local maintenance technicians who will contact you and offer a quote for the service.
Technicians will come to you to complete the repair on site and the repair is guaranteed for life.
With DirectFix, you have to ship the damaged device to them and wait for it to reply to you.
Radio will also ship the equipment here for repair in some rare cases, or in places where no repair facilities are installed.
Finally, my own iPhone 4S repair with iCracked kit now costs only about $45, a relatively simple process.
If I had to do it again, I thought I 'd still choose --it-
You may pay more than double the cost yourself to get the same service as it was repaired here.
On the other hand, the ultimate cost of the iPhone 5S is twice the cost of getting it fixed here, once you 've added the original DIY kit, by repairing the monitor and speaker repair here.
So, should you fix it yourself, or should you get a professional to fix it?
Only you can really answer this question.
Are you lucky?
Or, better yet, actually know what you're doing)
Or would you rather fix it for the first time and leave with a feature device in an hour or two?
