Three years later, old Molly Ann Bish was kidnapped 2000 times and found her skeleton remains, and her family has been looking for the murderer, posting flyers, creating websites and working with the FBI.
Now, the family is taking new steps to keep the search alive with digital billboards.
"We want to do the billboard.
"Going through the highway will be the best way to convey the message," said Molly's sister Heather Bish . ".

Raise awareness of unresolved cases and encourage people with any information to come forward.
"They are worried that the matter will be forgotten and will never be resolved," he said . ".
"Someone out there knows about Molly Bish's disappearance and hopefully it will get someone to stand up.

"On the morning of June 27, 2000, bish disappeared from her job as a lifeguard at Warren Commins Pond.
For weeks, investigators looked for her in the woods by the pond.
About 20 suspects were interviewed and the authorities offered a $100,000 reward.
An artist uses description to describe suspicious things.
Before Molly went missing, several residents found a man in a white car, including Bish's Mother Magdalen.
In May 2003, Bish's swimsuit was found 5 miles from the pond.
Authorities brought the search to a climax over the next month and found the body of Bish.
"No phone prompts and emails, almost no day will pass
"The email prompts," said Tim Connolly, spokesman for the Worcester District Attorney's office.
"We do follow every thread in this case.
"Since then, the Bish case has appeared on many TV shows, including" Unsolved Mysteries "," Larry King Live "and" the most popular in the United States ".
Her family helped bring the Amber Alert system to Massachusetts and created a project to provide a photo ID booklet for children.
In March 2008, Clear Channel Outdoor donated traditional billboard space to the Bish family.
A woman who saw the billboard called in with the name of a man who lived in South Bridge while Bish was missing, and the man seemed to fit the description of the Bish killer.
He is like a sketch of the suspect, and before she goes missing, he can reach a car like a car found in a pond.
The man was also allegedly familiar with the woods where the remains of Bish were found.
"We're just looking for the last thing to connect these points," said Bish . ".
"I can't even imagine the horror she went through.
I will never give up looking for someone to do this to Molly.
The case is still being heard by Worcester County district attorney's office and state police.
