A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
Lisa eadiccoi usually avoids Windows 8 laptops.
The interface is not as natural as OS X and Windows 7.
Many of them have distorted and folded monitors that I don't think are of much use.
But Dell's latest XPS 13 laptop was excellent and it convinced me to give up my personal MacBook for Windows 8 for a week.
The XPS 13 is light and gorgeous and works fine.
If you want a Windows machine as good as a MacBook Air, maybe better, this is the laptop to buy.
There are several different configurations for XPS 13.
My review unit comes with a touch screen with 3,200x1,800 resolution, 256 GB solid state storage, 8 gb of memory and a Core i5 Intel processor for $1,399.
If you want to go
The touch screen options are all the same specs and it will cost $200 the following is what will be taken-
Inch MacBook Air with the same storage, memory and processor.
Get an entry-level model without a touch screen, 1080 p display, 128 GB of storage, 4 GB of memory and a Core i3 processor of $799.
No matter what configuration you choose, the screen of the XPS 13 may impress you.
Dell's latest 13-
The inch laptop uses the "infinite display" it describes, which means that the screen itself extends almost entirely from the edge --to-edge.
Almost no baffle-
This enables Dell to produce laptops of the same size as typical 11-11
But there's a 13-inch notebook. inch screen. The so-
Known as "infinite display" also looks beautiful;
The color is very popular and the image looks bold.
The screen itself is smooth and I like it very much, but since it can create a little glare, some people may feel distracted.
However, this is not overwhelming, and the smooth texture is necessary to slide the touch screen easily and comfortably.
One problem I have with the screen, however, is that it looks rather bleak.
Whenever I use it, I have to keep the brightness going up all the time, or at least over half to easily see what's on the display.
Lisa eadiccoeven although the XPS 13 is a little cheaper than the MacBook Air, it is one of the few Windows laptops that are designed to rival Apple.
The lid and underside of the laptop are made of brushed aluminum with a polished and premium look.
When you open the keyboard, you will notice that the keyboard panel is coated with soft carbon fiber material, which allows you to rest your wrist comfortably while typing.
Generally speaking, the keyboard is strong enough to type easily and happily.
But if you are as picky as I am, you will notice that the keyboard will bend a bit when you press it.
It's a small complaint, but it's worth noting.
Dell PS 13 runs smoothly and quickly during normal use.
The application usually starts in two to three seconds, and the computer turns on power in about 12 seconds.
Lisa eadiccoand Dell XPS 13 is also very powerful.
Since it runs on Intel's latest processor, it's fast to start up and has a long battery life.
The laptop is used in a variety of ways, including browsing web pages, doing light work in Google Drive and playing content from Netflix for about nine hours.
This is impressive, especially since I have had to keep the monitor brightness at the highest setting for most of the time I use the monitor.
There is little negative to say about Dell's new laptop.
A glossy screen can sometimes create glare and the keyboard may be better.
That's it.
So if you buy a new Windows laptop on the market, XPS 13 is one of the best laptops you can get.
If you want a 13-
Inch screen, this is the laptop with the smallest size you can find.
Borderless screens, lightweight designs and aluminum-made laptops are one of the sexiest laptops --
This is the only Windows laptop that can compete with the MacBook Air in terms of appearance.
