My three-and-a-half-year-old friend has signs of a delay in speaking.
As parents, they do what any parent will do and take him to a pediatrician.

The only word he has always used properly is "pop" and as long as it is possible, he is excited to point to his grandfather.
He is constantly chattering, which is a baby conversation made up of words but incomplete conversational sentences.
So his vocabulary is limited and seems to be what he heard on video games and YouTube.
In addition to what he sees in the video or "educational game", he doesn't seem to have the concept of putting a word together with an image.
From all the articles they read about sensory seekers, extreme verbal delays do not seem particularly common.
They recently had an occupational therapist and a language therapist evaluate their son.
During the assessment they were asked how much screen time he had every day.
They think he works an average of 45 to 60 minutes a day.
From what I have observed, I believe the day will be longer and longer, close to 90 minutes.
Tablets, iPads, Android, or smartphones replace nanny and one-on-one interaction.
We all live a busy life and it seems harmless to take a few minutes off, at least they think so.

By not paying attention to them, this usually makes their behavior worse.
As parents, we need to set up a media free time every day, with 100% of our attention focused on our children and interacting with them.
At the table, smartphones, iPads, Android tablets or phones are not allowed to be used.
This is family time.
Same is true for all bedrooms.
