Obvious opposition
On Friday, February, Muslims preached gay sermons while praying.
It's not that good on Cornell campus.
The Cornell Sun first reported the story.
"Not all gay people are pedophile, but all pedophile people are gay," according to Ihsan Kabir, chairman of the Muslim Council for the promotion of culture, the preacher said
According to The Sun, Kabir said: "Gay people are monsters and gay people who want pink Earth . "But wait! There’s more!
Kabir recalled that Friday's sermon went on to speak out that President Barack Obama's tolerance for homosexuality was "too free ".
According to The Sun, he also condemned Muslim women for removing their headscarves after prayers.
"Women are dressed like men, but naked at the same time," an unidentified sermon --
It is reported.
Cornell University's student newspaper, The Sun, pointed out that the person who preached to the congregation gathered in Anabel Taylor Hall was a former employee of the school.
In addition, some students claim that the same person has had similar attacks in the past.
Student rag does not identify the speaker in other ways.
"A person invited to speak as a religious leader commented," said Renee Alexander, director of the diversity alumni program and consultant to a Muslim group on campus, telling Daily callers
"His comments are full of prejudice and hatred.
Joe Schwartz, a News official at Cornell University, told Washington, D. C. that Ivy League schools had a "package" against commenting on former employees ".
Traditionally, different members of the Muslim community can be chosen to preach --or khutba —each week.
The Khuba giver must be a male who has reached puberty and has reached a state of pure body by properly cleaning himself.
Sanya Hasemi, a junior at Cornell University, told The Sun that listening to a sermon was an uncomfortable experience.
"No one knows what to do," she said . "
"I hope this isolated incident, though serious, will not have a bad impact on the Muslim community in Cornell," Hashmi added . ".
Adam Aboud, Jr. , wrote an open letter expressing his aversion to the attack.
So far, nearly 50 students have signed the letter.
According to The Sun, Abboud wrote: "As a Muslim, I am very disgusted with this behavior by firmly believing in Islam and its premise of justice and social fairness . ".
He also hopes that this incident will not make people think that Islam is "a hateful and feminine [or]
Homophobic beliefs
Kent Haber, student dean at Cornell University, told The Sun that the government plans to issue a "Cornell response" statement on the incident.
Hubbell claims that the delayed response is the result of the "principle of freedom of expression" involved "especially in a religious context.
"We want to be very thoughtful about how we deal with this," Haber told The Sun . ".
All kinds of meetings last Monday
Apparently Muslim.
Students and community members appear.
At that meeting, it was decided that no sermon would be made in the future for those who gave the offending sermon.
In addition, it is planned to formally apologize in prayer next Friday.
