After more than 20 years, the art charity Folly will be closed.
Lancashire, who specializes in interactive digital art projects, blamed the closure on the "current financial environment ".
It was founded in 1989 as a stupid trust fund and works on many art projects in the northwest of England.
Art institutions plan to close and dissolve their charitable status by the end of August.
Among the 206 organizations that have been told they will be completely cut by the British Arts Council, stupidity is one of them (ACE)from 2012.

"A number of recent projects include Portable pixel playgrounds, digital artist manuals, abandoned general equipment festivals, and a culture of love.
