Outdoor board games, evening entertainment, dining carts and improved lanes are just a few suggestions to the Launceston City Council to improve the face of the town.
As part of the urban heart project, the proposals have been compiled in a final report distributed around local organizations.
Other suggestions for the mall include visitor kiosks, improved seating, wind breaks and new children's game equipment.

Mayor Albert van zeteng described the project as an "urgent priority" and said that the staff are now working on an overall project master plan and a detailed design of the first phase of the project.
"The consultation shows that people want to see the public space of CBD fully utilized, because the new Life lease, infrastructure upgrade, more public seats, green plants, street lights and street art were given to MP van zerten.
He said that the Commission is discussing funding issues with the federal and state governments and will release details of priority programs, costs and budgets in the coming months.
