A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
My grandmother told me today that she really wanted to get my DW (dear wife)
I bought a new laptop this Christmas.
It's a lot more money than my family usually spend on each other's gifts, but DW (dear wife)
I have been helping her for the past few months and during that time they have become very close.
My grandmother really wanted to do it for her as a way to thank her and to show her that she was appreciated and loved.
I felt so sweet and moved. she gave me this.
DW's current laptop is a piece of continuously frozen garbage and she really needs to be replaced as she goes to school online full time.
The problem is that my grandmother wanted me to pick out my laptop and I was in a dilemma between two different options.
I hope BHB can help me decide which one is better.
Option 1 is the Macbook Air.
The only reason this shows up on my radar is DW (dear wife)
She mentioned in the past that she wanted to buy a Macbook.
Even though we all have iPhones, we don't have anything but computers.
I know Macbooks should be the best, but I'm just worried that she wants it because it's gorgeous and not because it's practical.
This is her type of character.
She has a very bad habit of buying something that is considered fashionable or "cool" and then realizing it was a mistake afterwards.
But that's what she really wants.
It's important to me.
The Macbook also comes with a suitcase which I think is good.
Option 2 is Lenovo 2-in-
A convertible laptop.
I like the idea of a laptop because she goes to work with her laptop every day and it can also be used as her tablet.
It's also a touch screen with a slightly larger screen and a PC, so she's more used to it than a Macbook.
But, I don't know if she will open it up as excitedly as she did on Christmas morning.
I don't know much about Lenovo either, as we only own Dell or HP, so I'm not sure if this is a quality brand worth buying.
Both computers have great reviews, same RAM etc.
My grandmother had a budget of $1,200 and while the Macbook cost $200, both were below that level.
If important, she uses her laptop mainly when she works at school.
So mainly writing and some Photoshop-
And general web browsing.
Not much streaming or games.
What do you say?
Is the Macbook worth buying? One last thing.
If something unexpected happens and my grandmother can't buy it either, I might try to move something to buy it myself. (
It's a bit tricky, but it's not impossible.
Anyway, we plan to replace her laptop in February. )
Would your answer change if I ended up being the one who bought it instead of my grandmother?
Like you would automatically recommend cheaper to her, though both are within the budget she gave me?
