The NBA fined Celtic defender Marcus Smart $35,000 for being deported after he was beaten by Boston on Saturday, but he avoided being banned.
Smart's first technical foul in the third stage of the game because he argued about the foul against him, after 7: 35, he and Eagles striker DeAndre buebré were whistling for a quarrel.
Since it was Smart's second technical foul in the game, he was automatically expelled.
Smart was briefly taken away by a security officer on the team, but he was charged at Bembry before being bound by Dewayne Dedmon in Atlanta.
The NBA said Smart was fined for "actively pursuing opponents, trying to aggravate physical quarrels and failing to leave court in time after he was expelled.
On Monday night, the Celtics played the heat at TD Garden.
