With the transformation released in last October, Microsoft hopes to play a more prominent role in the growing mobile device market while maintaining its dominance in PCs.
However, the design of Windows 8, which emphasizes interactive tiles and touch control, seems to confuse a lot of people because it makes a deep impression.

Microsoft is redesigning the latest version of its Windows operating system to address complaints and confusion blamed for further declines in PC sales.
The adjustments announced today will not be released to consumers and businesses until later this year.
These changes are part of a package codenamed "blue" and are the default to Windows 8 defects, a radical overhaul of Microsoft Inc.

International data is a leading research company.
Windows 8 led to a 14% drop in global PC sales in the first three months of this year.
The biggest yearover-year drop ever.
At the same time, sales of smartphones and tablets are booming.
Apple is the biggest beneficiary.
Manufacturers of iPhones and iPads, as well as Samsung Electronics.

Google has also benefited from the popularity of Android by increasing service traffic, creating more opportunities for companies to display ads.

Mainly selling Windows
Electric machines are caught in financial panic, hitting their stocks and raising questions about their future.
Despite the disturbing signs, Microsoft insists on expressing satisfaction with the performance of Windows 8.
The company is headquartered in Redmond, Washington.
He said that more than 100 million Windows 8 licenses have been sold so far, an increase from about 60 million licenses in January.
Like Microsoft's previous operating system, the number of licenses is "within the general scope"Windows 7 —
According to Tami Reller, at a similar time in its sales cycle, he served as marketing and finance director for Microsoft's Windows business.
In an interview, Reller said Microsoft remains aware of the need to make changes that will make Windows 8 easier to navigate and be able to take full advantage of the technological improvements that have emerged since October.
"What can we do to absolutely improve the experience? There is a learning curve (to Windows 8)
We can try to solve this problem.
"At the moment, Microsoft has not said what changes will be made with the blue release, and the company plans to mark it with different names when it is updated and available.
Nor did Microsoft say whether it would charge the existing owner of the Windows 8 device for a blue fix.
The company plans to release Blue in time during the holiday season.

Reller said Microsoft will release more details about Blue before the developers conference in San Francisco at the end of June.
It is expected that some features of Blue will be previewed at that meeting.
If Blue is meant to make people more comfortable, these changes may contain more elements from earlier versions of Windows.
A common complaint is that there is no "start" button in the Windows 8 menu.
Other critics argue that this will allow the system to start with desktop mode suitable for applications designed to run for earlier versions of the operating system.
Windows 8 is currently starting to show interactive tile mosaics tailored for browsing programs with fingers rather than a computer mouse.
Blue may also make it easier for you to find a set of controls
In Windows 8, it is called "charm"
Currently must be pulled out from the right side of the display.
In addition to responding to customer feedback, Blue will also improve Windows 8 at 7-and 8-
The inch display, says Reller.
She declined to say whether Microsoft intends to produce a smaller version of the Surface tablet.
Peter Klein, Microsoft's chief financial officer, said in a conference call with analysts last month that the company is working with other manufacturers to produce smaller tablets.
One thing Blue can't solve is: there are relatively few options for mobile apps customized for Windows 8.
The Windows 8 store now has more than 60,000 apps, says Reller.
By contrast, more than 800,000 apps are available on Apple's mobile devices, and nearly one on Android devices.
One of the most obvious omissions on Windows 8, Facebook Inc.
An application has not yet been designed to make its online social network more accessible on the system.
Facebook has about 0. 75 billion mobile users.
Microsoft made a decision to adjust so soon after Windows 8 went public, which may reinforce the perception that the product failed.
Reller tried to use these changes as evidence that Microsoft has become more agile and flexible in responding to the fast-growing technology market.
Smartphones and tablets have been at the center of this turmoil, and as more and more people and businesses choose the convenience of increasingly powerful mobile devices, there is less and less demand for PCs.

Mobile computing movement is the main reason why Microsoft has made the most dramatic redesign of its Windows operating system since 1995.
Given how different Windows 8 is from its predecessor, says Reller, Microsoft has always known that it may make some adjustments in less than a year since the software came out.
"It has to be a very big change to take advantage of mobile opportunities," she said . ".
One reason Windows 8 starts slowly, analysts say, is that there aren't enough devices to take advantage of the system's touch capabilitiesScreen function.
But this is about to change as HP, Dell, and other PC manufacturers prepare to launch a variety of laptops and tablets with responsive touch monitors.
More than 2,400 devices have now been certified to run on Windows 8, up from 2,000 in January, says Reller.
Most of the touch
Screen laptops will cost $50 to $250 less than the first wave of similar machines running on Windows 8, and Microsoft hopes the price cut will prompt more people to look at the system.
"When we look at Windows 8, it's important to remember that many of its full potential will not be realized until there are more touch devices on the market," Reller said . ".
