The bottom line is that Texas has invested millions more in educating children in rich communities than in educating the same number of children in our poor communities.
If a child with a bad postal code does not have a high test score, the federal government will be responsible for their teachers and school boards, not because of the architects who carried out brain robbery against the born child in the wrong community.

In the absence of a new federal education framework authorized by Congress, the Obama administration is approving exemptions that will free states from the shackles of some of the key fairness measures designed to improve the outcome of troubled students, schools and regions.

Under the immunity, there are accusations everywhere, but for politicians who fund pranks, no one will cynically take the opportunity from the same children, they ended up failing to pass the test with amazing numbers.
This approach continues to ignore the growing evidence that reforms focus only on results and actually widen the achievement gap.

Perhaps in order to address these deficiencies, the government's budget for the fiscal year 2013 has significantly facilitated investment in education, including requests of up to $30 billion to prevent teacher layoffs and address teacher quality issues, and a further $30 billion request to improve school facilities.
However, while these suggested investments are highly needed, they are offset by the expansion of competing grant projects, which directly receive significant funding from a more inclusive formula

There is no doubt that the risk is great.
Our country is in the midst of a huge demographic shift.
By the end of this century, children of color under the age of 18 will become the majority of all children in the United States.
These young people are mainly from low-income groups.
Income families in communities with difficult schools.
If we do not implement the right policy framework to support the achievement of all students, strengthen the teaching profession and strike the right balance between opportunity and responsibility, the United States will find itself further behind in the global economy.
Finally, although countless salespeople of the new and expensive "miracle" project can't say it, our success or failure in education is not the exclusive property of teachers.
If anything, thousands of brave teachers across the country are trying to eliminate the damage done by politicians-whether in Texas or in our country's capitol building-who use budget shortages as an excuse, ignore the need for the most vulnerable (and most under-represented)in our society.
We believe that for too long, we should quietly provide educational waste to other people's children, and now we see the inevitable result, we would rather tear down the school, and unwilling to offend the unequal merchants who live in our polling booth --ourselves.
Education reform is our own responsibility.

Reform in the real sense began with stabilizing the middle class and fairly funded education.
What is needed is the reform of parenting methods.
The school's plan to protect students-think about protecting teachers.
Teachers should educate your children, not raise them.
Throw them at school, then throw them in front of the TV, until all the time in the evening there is no parenting-it's breeding!
Improving our school is not a simple solution.
Many factors such as class size, good teachers, parent participation, and student motivation are all factors of our children's education.
In my personal experience, I don't think it would help to just throw money at this issue.
For example, our school has a smart board in every classroom.
The problem is that half of the teachers can't or won't use them.
Our teachers are well paid and many people refuse to retire.
When I got lost at school, I found teachers with at least two children wandering.
The teachers' union is so strong that it is almost impossible to remove a teacher.
Some of our worst teachers have become managers.
I have to explain to our principles why it is important for 3rd students to remember their schedule.
Unless there is an effective way to remove poor teachers and administrators from our school system, investing money in the system will not help to improve the education of our children.
As a physics teacher, your comment on the smart board was hit home.
Without asking if we needed/could use them, a smart board appeared in our room, covering the middle half of the whiteboard and basically leaving a small space on both sides.
Terrible.
I don't have enough space to fully demonstrate solving a physical problem with two equations and two unknowns.
Students do not have enough room to write their experimental results for peer review.
The whiteboard becomes a passive focus in the classroom.
Physics is not good for smart boards.
However, is this good for a small group problem with the SMART Board not adding any new content to solve.
All I need is a projector but no one is consulting me. Wasted money.
The purpose of this rant is to show that you can't simply judge teachers by whether or not they use the latest gadget.
Some of the most profound learning my students do is with a pop-up toy for 50 cents.
You don't know why your teacher doesn't retire.
Our educational decisions need to be based on real and profound evidence, not on the agenda and rumors.
For example, there is an established relationship between socio-economic status and school performance, but funding is not based on that fact.
Poor school I can drop 2 trillion yuan, but if the student doesn't want to study and only steals all the new equipment, then I'm sorry I can't do anything.
Horses cannot be forced to drink water.
It all has to do with parents and why no idiot commentator is aware of this.
There is a reason why rich children have rich parents, which is because their grandparents may encourage them to do their best.
