28, 1999 UMAX, a company known for its scanners, is launching a low
Cost digital camera for borrowing features from palm on Monday-
Size device: Connect to PC with a single button.
The camera is called Astracam, connected to Windows-
Based on the computer by inserting the American bracketS. B. port.
Press the button on the stand to load the image from the memory of the Astracam to the computer.
The camera's two AAA batteries are also recharged.
The price tag for Astracam is $199, but the price will be much lower in some discount stores, making it one of the cheapest digital cameras on the market.
Weighing it off, it offers only medium resolution and few features.
No flash, no preview screen, also lag between pressing the shutter button and taking pictures;
The slow shutter speed means that any movement will cause the image to blur.
On the positive side, the camera can store up to 46 images and can record through the built-in device
In the microphone, with software that makes e-commerce easy
Mail a picture from a photo, make a greeting card or make a screen saver.
The image can be modified depending on the brightness or contrast, and the addition of Adobe Photo Home Edition allows advanced special effects, such as making the picture look like a charcoal drawing.
