A survey shows that a third teacher is willing to wear a body camera while teaching.
The Times revealed yesterday that two British schools have introduced devices to monitor classroom behavior.
However, some teaching unions have stated that they are opposed to the introduction of body cameras because it may infringe on teachers' professional rights or be used to assess their performance, which is the view of some in the industry.
A survey of more than 600 teachers conducted by the Times Education Supplement found that more than three teachers are willing to wear body cameras at school.
Among them, one out of 3 will do so to monitor and obtain evidence of student behavior, and one out of five will do so to improve their teaching.
