At present, B. C.
The Ministry of Education does not have clear guidelines for educational technology.
In today's school, parents or administrators may walk into the classroom and see all the students who use digital tablets.
But how do they judge if the technology is properly used?
What are some of the positive and negative issues with the use of educational technology with children?
Can technology be used to enhance learning?
Technology and media should not interfere with the healthy development of children's communication with their peers, family members and adults, social interaction, games and other appropriately developed activities.

Effects related to the use of technology.
Conflicting evidence of the value of technology in the development of children and adolescents has led to confusion among parents and educators.
While critics warn of the negative impact of technology on children's learning, it is important to educate content and how children use it.
Educators are increasingly accepting that proper use of technology should support learning, not as an isolated activity.
The use of technology should not replace activities such as creative games, real games, etc.
Life exploration, physical activity, outdoor experience, conversation and social interaction.
Instead, it can be used to expand access to new information for these activities and for children.
For example, teachers can introduce augmented reality (AR)
Provide students with devices and apps that support their learning and increase their experience in a real environment
The world environment of virtual information.
The explanatory AR application connects the past with the present.
It provides detailed information related to an object or location.
For example, the "GoSkyWatch Planetarium" can be used on a tablet or smartphone and GPS is used to determine the location of the user.
When the device is positioned to the sky, it provides specific information about stars, planets and constellations.
These settings can be personalized, can record observations, and can also share experiences with others through social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
Technology can be one of many ways to complete a task or support learners with different learning styles and preferences.
Be active in the proper and effective use of technology
Activities that provide technical control for children, participation and empowerment.
If technology creates opportunities for students to solve problems, think, think, listen and look critically, make decisions, observe, record, ask, research, investigate ideas, show learning, cooperation and mutual learning.
Some of the real advantages of technology include professional and parent contacts that support the use of social media to build relationships, maintain communication, exchange information and share online resources.
While it can simplify the communication of questions, seek advice and share information about children, this rapid and immediate exchange of information can also be overwhelming if personal and professional guidelines are not developed for participants
It is the responsibility of professionals and parents to simulate the proper and effective use of technology through safe, healthy, acceptable, responsible and ethical practices.
Young people also need to develop knowledge and experience of technology in order to understand the appropriate use and misuse of their actions.
Understand the appropriate, responsible and ethical norms of social behaviour related to online rights, roles, identities, security, and communication is part of being a citizen in the digital age.
The proper integration of ICT and education means that the issue of classroom equity and access must be addressed across family financial and socio-cultural barriers.
The convenience of independent use of technology is required for children with special needs, and information and communication technologies must also be provided to support bilingual learners.
This means that provincial policies must be developed and implemented to address access and equitable rights of individuals in the appropriate integration of technology.
These digital devices are part of the cultural lifestyle of children and teenagers who are growing up easily.
This change is fast and continues to affect the world in which children and adolescents learn and develop.
I believe that technology may have a positive or negative impact on learning, depending on how they are used, why they are used, and what specific purpose they are used.
If used improperly, learners in the coming generations will not be able to reach their educational potential to the full.
However, I believe technology can expand creativity and enhance learning ability if used properly.
