"We want people to have a say in it, whether they like it or not," Gomez said . ".
She said there were some people on the page who expressed support for the development, but most opposed it.
Gomez said the scale of the project is not suitable for the quiet feeling nearby, and its opponents are worried that vehicle traffic will increase.
"You live in front of the park all your life and suddenly there is a huge building in front of you," she said . ".
"It will ruin our community.
