Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports Eleanor McMahon officially announced the news on Thursday night at a special VIP event, just before the two Imaxfilms screenings: Dunkirk

"The rebirth of Cinesphere is the second phase of the plan to revive Ontario.
The first stage is the opening of Yanling Park and William G.
Davis leisure trail last June.
The province spent $30 million to transform a parking lot in Ontario into a waterfront park.
Minister McMahon said that the next phase of the transformation will take place in the island of Ontario, but officials still do not know what to do.

"We have some very exciting proposals that focus on innovation, design and creativity.
McMahon said the province wants Ontario to be a world
The location of the class and the changes made in the island will be key to achieving this.
"We are trying to make our dreams come true," McMahon said . ".
"So, if I think of an iconic cultural space, if I think of a space for cultural innovation, if I think of something that would allow people to come to Ontario all the year round.
