review and experience with dan passarelli\'s market taker mentoring program - interactive learning board

Learning the program overview of options trading through the mentoring program has made me one of the best senior options traders in 9 weeks.
Having an industry professional like Dan Passarelli as a mentor means I have access to his 16 years of professional experience, tools and technology that you can't get on your ownmade mentors.
The risk management techniques and disciplines that professionals insist on or enforced by their risk manager supervisors give them a better chance to continue to succeed.
I have joined this project in more than a year of stock trading experience and have my own trading style (i. e.
Specific types of transactions I like)
I already figured it out.
However, past experience is not so important.
Dan works with people of all skill levels and makes a point about your unique conditional personalized mentoring program.
Also, you know, many professional trading companies prefer to train and hire people with limited market experience, because new traders have less market "baggage" about what they should do and actually the right way to trade ".
So, as long as you are determined to learn about options trading, this coaching program should help you become the best option trader.
All guide students to get personalized 9-week one-on-
A mentoring session along with Dan's book The Greek of trading options, live webinar course access during the mentoring session, and lifetime archive webinar and site content access.
As soon as you receive the "trading options Greek", it helps you to be prepared for the guided course.
In addition, this book is a good reference.
The webinar course is the same as the weekly webinar provided on the market recipient guidance website.
The monthly webinar program is usually focused on different topics.
For example, a month may focus only on vertical spreads and on different aspects or strategies of vertical spreads every week.
Pay attention to one topic every month and make sure students learn each topic well.
Each month usually starts with introducing the basic knowledge of the theme of the month, and then analyzes and applies various strategies to complete a high-level explanation of how the option market operates from, so that students can think and trade like professionals.
When I signed up for a show, the show Impressionon-
The whole benefit of a guide, this project is actually a whole.
It means that it is important to provide the overall and interdependent resources: 1-on-
Learn Dan's "trading options Greek" and attend his weekly webinar course.
In fact, the program is like a senior university or graduate course with a textbook "Greek trading options.
In addition, a simple but important road map is the market recipient's trading path, and Dan stated in several steps how to make a trading plan.
The weekly webinar course is Dan's lecture on teaching concepts and methods from his book, but in an interactive learning environment these are reinforced from various provocative perspectives that analyze each concept or strategy
It turned out to be a Chicago Options Exchange (
Chicago Options Exchange)
Coach, Dan has trained a variety of people, including retail (individual)
Institutional traders (professional)
Traders, fund managers, market makers and investment advisers in the United StatesS. and Canada. The one-on-
A guided course is an important time to put everything together with Dan on your side.
When you learn to put things into practice correctly.
Just like school, what you learn and learn is a good foundation, but the practical application in the real world is a bit vague.
Getting it right requires experience.
Dan helped me clear my mind, challenge me, and help me see deals I 've never thought about alone.
My learning curve is exponential.
As Mark Douglas said in regional deals, there are a lot of things you won't consider just because the concept doesn't exist in your "world" yet.
As many people know, I am allergic to everything.
So, people can talk about different types of chocolate for hours in a row, but I don't understand anything because there is no taste of chocolate in my world.
The same goes for deals and anything else we 've experienced.
Normally, you only need a mentor to introduce the idea to you.
When we start to extrapolate outside of the basic approach and actually track deals and how these things behave in reality, that's when the course really consolidates my understanding of options.
Because Dan wrote the book and did webinars and guided sessions in person, learning from these three mediums can be easily integrated together.
Unlike the university, you don't have to read a textbook for a certain author and then be taught in a different way by your professor in class and then followed up by a graduate student who also has a different approach
The biggest benefit of market recipient guidance is that it is personalized for each student's experience, knowledge and goals.
So the following is just a basic review of my guided course.
In addition to the first meeting, which is an assessment and discussion meeting, these courses are conducted online through GoToWebinar, with which both Dan and I can share our desktop.
So it's totally hands-on and interactive.
Not only can I explain to me what he might do to research and analyze a transaction, but I can also see what he did on the table.
Considering the war, we used tradeMONSTER's platform to analyze transactions. game "what-
If "prepared scenario and compare options Greeks with different strike prices and options combinations.
For volatility analysis, we often use the free website version of LiveVOL (
You can get it with the "try" button).
Dan emphasized earlier the importance of analyzing volatility, which is the cornerstone of options, but almost none of the most option traders mentioned it.
Profitable Adobe (ADBE)
I didn't accept it, but I wanted to analyze it afterwards.
Dan was able to use his selection software, which I didn't have and replay the transaction before the earnings were announced.
We were able to look at all options for Greeks and volatility and consider all possible options strategies to find the most profitable options.
When ADBE trades past, I learned how to analyze potential trades.
More importantly, I understand why each option strategy produces different results and why a particular strategy is the most profitable.
Different from stocks, options are varied.
Completely different animals.
Stocks may move as you predicted and you will benefit from it, but you may not make money from stock options or even lose.
Every week, we discuss ideas that are a little more complex, or consider more from the advantages of trading, opportunities, risks, and creative ways to design the best strategy.
As mentioned in the ADBE example, many options strategies can be profitable for your stock outlook.
Still, you want to develop the best strategy and give yourself the best chance to succeed.
We found that a lot of trading and design strategies are good.
One of the best meetings, however, is that none of the stocks on my watch list are good options.
We can't design any strategy to give me an advantage and a favorable environment for me to take risks for this transaction.
It's great to experience the eyes around me, help break down different strategies and explain why each strategy is not worth it.
I finally saw with my own eyes what bad deals are, so I know these will be avoided in the future. WHY MENTORING?
Some of the best things Dan talked to me about was his experience as a market maker in the trading hall.
The things he preached came from the fact that he had survived on the floor for years and suffered losses, the professionals he saw failed, and the risk managers who supervised him to make sure he was away from trouble.
As individual traders, we have never considered these details.
Even if we are aware of the problem, we don't know what to do or what to do.
It was great for Dan to pass on some of these "trade secrets" to me, some of them to him so I don't have to re-invent the wheel.
Instead, I can focus on how to make it better.
It may be a glorious effort to reinvent the wheel, but most of us don't have time and no money to do it.
