Since the landmark cinema in Jackson Square redecorated the theater with a new recliner last year, the AGH film project has been looking for a new screening room.
The Jackson Square was nicely decorated, but the new seating made the theater's capacity too limited for the AGH screening.

With funding from the Hamilton City Future Fund, AGH was able to buy a new state --of-the-

"This is the same type of projection system you can find in all mainstream cinemas," Ferguson said . ".
"It's like a car. It's huge.
"The device was installed in the Lincoln Alexander center in June and will be running for the first time this weekend in two screenings of the French film Cezanne Moy. Starring Oscar-nominated Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins, along with a single screening of Kaidi. A documentary about thousands of cats roaming the Turkish city of Istanbul freely.
Ferguson said he hopes the new home of the AGH film project will help restore a strong
Mainstream movie scene in downtown Hamilton.
"We have more film festivals and film events in the city than ever before," Ferguson said . ".
"I believe that the AGH film project can provide further routes for alternative and international films in the city center and help build a city with many movie options.
