The developer of the new facility decided that the million Royal Alberta Museum in downtown Edmonton, like its predecessors, had erected the aradside billboard, and the ads used to promote the exhibition would not cut it.
Instead, the museum got a second one.
Nearly 6 metres high, wrapped around the southwest corner, 20 metres wide.
Technicians started testing the screen last week so that passers-by at 103 A Avenue can preview their eyes --

When the museum opens at the end of 2017, the screen will display the latest exhibits and share what's going on inside and interesting facts about Alberta.

Tom Thurston, Alberta's director of cultural capital development, said: "It will be a flame for moths to attract them into the museum . ".
"It certainly means that this is the main entry and the information shown above will give them a reason why they want to come in.
The old Royal Alberta Museum used portable signs and static billboards to advertise the exhibition.
