A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 looks like a smartphone in 2019, next-
Gen tech has the potential to really excite users.
But elsewhere, Samsung is losing ground.
Today, the company announced that it will begin to automatically cancel orders for the once revolutionary Galaxy Fold.
Now, due to reliability issues, Samsung is looking to launch the world's first commercial screen folding smartphone, and the company has not provided a date on which the phone could be re-launched.
This is the adramatic that fell from grace.
The Galaxy Fold review unit was initially acclaimed but soon began to fail.
After initially trying to resolve the issue, Samsung subsequently recalled the devices, demanding their removal, and now consumer shipments have stopped indefinitely. It's a shock.
The only people who can still get the Galaxy Fold are those who have ordered the $2,000 device and specifically tell Samsung that they still want to receive it.
Samsung told all Galaxy Fold pre-"your order will be automatically canceled if we do not hear from you and we do not ship it by May 31
Order customers by email this week.
Needless to say, fans of competitors and rival devices will find it all very interesting, but the reality is that it's frustrating.
The folds of galaxies are not only significant (if flawed)
It provides some important technology first.
In addition, fans of any company should want their competitors to succeed, as this increases the pressure on their preferred brand to meet the challenge.
Instead, the failure of the Galaxy Fold will damage the image of the folding phone, reducing the pressure on competitors to produce compelling alternatives.
Some may stop completely.
So while the Galaxy Note 10 does look like the most complete phone of the year, Samsung's most exciting phone of the year seems destined to be a scrap.
Because of this, the entire smartphone industry has become less interesting.
