In the crowded conference room of the international governance innovation center, around the company's share price decline, Middle East and Asian security issues, its marketing strategy, and why RIM does not release fewer BlackBerry models.
A shareholder who claimed to be a tech salesperson said he recently visited a Best Buy store in Buffalo and was shocked to find that compared to iPad and other tablet competitors, there is almost no shelf space for the new PlayBook.
The shareholder waved pictures to prove his point, asking RIM why it did not adopt a more aggressive sales strategy for the script.

Mike Lazaridis, chief executive officer, added that he is not worried about the new tablet, as its QNX operating system is the most powerful in the market today.
He noted that it is widely used in industry and even on space shuttles.
Albrecht Weller, a shareholder and investment consultant from Toronto, when he asked about an anonymous letter written by a senior RIM executive criticizing the company's leadership and direction, it seemed to touch his nerves.

Jennifer Coulson, a spokesman for Northwest, said the company was "pleased that we were able to reach an agreement on a committee" and RIM was dealing with their proposal in a "constructive way.
