A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
Calgary Tattoo clinical notes have evolved from paper to dental and orthodontic practice
Records based on electronic systems.
However, electronic records do not significantly change the way information is entered or presented to dental assistants and physicians, as access records are still largely text-based.
In an environment where efficiency is required to make an appointment on time and accuracy and thoroughness cannot be included, it may be difficult for clinical staff to view and understand records. Dr.
Hisham Badawi created a visual clinical note software called orthos4d, which is based on the human brain that can handle vision and 3-
D. text for information processing or 2-D information.
The software enables clinical staff to directly input the treatment information of each patient to 3-
Capture the tooth image with a mouse or touch screen and manipulate the image to get the best view of the treatment record.
Visual information understands patient records faster and more completely than text-based electronic records, ensures standardized and accurate records for each patient, and shares intuitive visual information with patients and staff.
The detailed text will also be automatically generated by orthough 4D-
Ensure compliance with basic instructions required by laws and regulations.
Oral4D Systems, the company behind the software, was recently recognized by the startup Calgary as one of the top ten most innovative startups this year.
Here's more we talked to Dr. Badawi.
How did you come up with the idea of starting a business? There's a "ah-

One night a few years ago, D images in the film Minority Report began to think about how to use computer graphics to record and create more effective and efficient patient treatment records.
My vision is to get all the information you need about a particular patient with one eye at a glance, instead of having to read through the text or try to understand 2-D drawings.
Using the knowledge and connections I gained during my PhD study at the University of Alberta and motivated to save time in the orthodontic office, I started working with a software engineer to develop an intuitive, immersive 3-
Visual interface for orthodontic treatment documentation.
What is the biggest challenge so far? What did you do to solve itA Calgary?
Compared to startups in other parts of North America, startups at headquarters are at a disadvantage in many ways because we have to compete with the oil and gas industry to attract talent.
I was lucky enough to finally find some talented and unique developers who believe in what we are doing and are interested in accepting attractive offers.
Whether there are any key people outside your organization that are very helpful to your startup, they have a lot of connections in the dental and orthodontic industries, which is very helpful.
Professional peers, experienced assistants, knowledgeable sales executives and solution vendors who have experienced the startup cycle have all provided their advice and input as valuable sources of information and encouragement.
AVAC's Martin Vetter provides valuable input and advice and helps us build the right connections in our startup community in Calgary.
It is essential to find a close advisor/mentor like Martin who wants to help you succeed.
What advice do you want to share with people who are just beginning to understand your market, but also be creative and flexible.
When you gather more information from users to better understand their problems, needs, competition, and the reality of developing and delivering solutions, your ideas change.
We have put our team at the joint meeting.

Using government funding.
I always tell my children that I am addicted to progress.
I can't do the same job doing nothing every day.
I 've been looking for ways to improve things, and my principle in life is that "While things are good at the moment, they can always get better ".
I don't think I need to start a business for the sake of economic interests;
Money cannot be the driving force for choosing the road to start a business.
I just like the process of innovation.
What do you think about our startup ecosystem? Alberta has a growing and experienced startup community, which is an issue to connect with as many people as possible, you can find the right person to help you.
