sony to sell ultra-hd '4k' tv sets - best hd projector

Sony plans to start selling TVs with a resolution of four times the best HD TVs of the day soon.
The company's first "4 K" series-namedXBR
84X900, 84 inch will be measured on the diagonal, making the screen area four times the size of the normal 42-inch set.
Sony said they will be listed in North America on December and prices will be announced next week.
The resolution of the 4 k TV set is 3,840 by 2,160 pixels.
The technology is called "4 K" because it has nearly 4,000 pixels on the horizontal edge.
In contrast, 1,920 by 1,080 pixels in the "1080 p" setting.
More pixels allow TV manufacturers to make larger screens without compromising clarity.
