The Sky Association appointed 3,600 late Monday-square-
Kilometers from Idaho Central Dark Sky Reserve.
The night sky in sparsely populated areas is so primitive that interstellar dust clouds can be seen in the galaxy.
"There is still such a dark night environment in the United States that it is worth noting," J said . "

Based on the association, it is designated as a milestone for the group.
Researchers say 80 of North Americans live in areas where light pollution has blurred the night sky.
The central Idaho reserve covers some of the most remote and rugged parts of the state, most of which are administered by the United States. S. Forest Service.
There are wilderness areas and serrate national recreation areas.
"The main attraction of the reserve is its wilderness quality, lack of development and important visitor service," the association said on its website . ".
As part of its mission to protect nature and landscape quality, the Forest Services Bureau supports this designation.
It has reduced light pollution in buildings, but says relief from other people in the entertainment district will be voluntary.
Against Dark Sky measures elsewhere in the United StatesS.
From the outdoor advertising industry and those who oppose additional government regulations.
Supporters say excess artificial light can cause sleep problems for people, wildlife that disrupt night activity, and dark skies can solve these problems, increase family value and attract tourists.
"Sun Valley is excited about this prestigious title and I am sure it will benefit residents and tourists," said Sun Valley Mayor Peter Hendricks . ".
Sun Valley is a resort and the highest-priced place in Idaho, located in the protected area like the neighboring Ketchum.
Efforts were made in both towns to limit lighting at night.

The Sky Society named Ketchum The International Dark Sky Community, with only 16 in the world.
Earlier this year, the Association named the national monument to the moon and the ring-shaped mountain preserved in the South.
Central Idaho is an International Dark Sky Park in about 40 countries in the United States.
But officials say it will take decades to get the rarest prize from the reserve, including efforts by the marginal community of the Reserve to reduce night lighting.
The association studied what the surrounding community did to protect the dark core area of the proposed protected area.
Volunteers also carried out night light readings throughout the region, and the environmental organization Idaho Conservation Union supported the designation to limit light pollution.
Stanley is a small mountain town in the jagged entertainment district on the north side of the reserve, operating mainly on tourism funds and supporting the reserve by voluntarily limiting outdoor lighting.
"Visitors can come here to experience the original wonders of the starry sky," said Mayor Steve Boty . ".
