Mumbai: bidding at jewar airport will be invited by the end of this year, when the government will eliminate certain regulatory uncertainties to attract foreign airport operators and introduce more competitive processes in the bidding, A senior civil aviation official said Thursday.

He said that the airport bidding documents will list the tariff structure in advance.
Tariffs will be advanced.
Choubey said that the bidder pointed out in the document that, therefore, there is no uncertainty as to how many tariffs they can impose if the airport operator packs the contract.
Under the current system, the airport economic supervision agency determines the aviation freight rate for 5 years.
