For a while, everyone thought it was a woman named Jenny.
She quit her job and returned to her boss, becoming an internet celebrity at once.
This week, a series of photos showing Jenny writing her resignation on a portable whiteboard set off a storm in the Internet world, with nearly half of them sharing her resignation on Facebook.
The photo shows Jenny leaving a few parting messages to her former colleagues, including her boss, with facial expressions matching the boots.

The story was a scam made by the owner of the humor site Chive, who told their prank in the second group of photos showing Porterfield, which were written on the whiteboard again.
