Huge billboards are planned to be posted in 20 cities to show photos of fugitives and missing persons to catch criminals.
Digital billboards that will be posted in cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami will also flash security messages in strategic locations, with millions driving past each day.
Following a similar successful event in Philadelphia, the initiative is working with Clear Channel Outdoor, an advertising company that will provide public service space.
The billboards will enable it to highlight local violent criminals, kidnapping victims, missing children, bank robbers and even terrorists, the FBI said.

It says that just after the crime, a child is taken away or attacked.
The company stressed that these billboards had a quick bonus for public safety belts.
On October, two fugitives were captured as a result of direct publicity.
On October 31, Philadelphia police officer Charles Cassidy was killed in response to armed robbery, and the FBI will soon be able to release suspects on every billboard.
The suspect was later captured.
